This is a review of weekly subscription box called Hello Fresh for $69 a week including shipping. This week I gave all three recipes four out of five stars. We really enjoyed the meals. I really like how their meat and chicken have expirations dates on them unlike some of their competition. I also like that they offer a Jamie Oliver recipe each week.

Salmon en Papillote with Whole Wheat Couscous Pilaf, Asparagus & Tarragon Chive Herb Sauce

Hubby and I gave this recipe four out of five stars. I was grateful that it only took thirty minutes to prepare. It was easy to make and scrumptious. There is no excuse for eating salmon without a delicious topping since there are so many that are easy, healthy and tasty. It had 621 calories, 46 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. We had some couscous leftovers, so it actually landed up being less calories. The photo above doesn't show all of the couscous because it wouldn't fit on the plate. It was a very enjoyable and healthy dinner which we would love to eat again soon.

Lasagna Baked Spinach Penne with Kale & Mozzarella

Another wonderful recipe that only took thirty minutes to make, fifteen of that was baking time, so it's only fifteen minutes prep time! What a delicious and healthy meal it was! It comes in at 868 calories, but really it was enough for three portions instead of two, so that lowers the calorie count. I would have liked more mozzarella, but that would increase the calories. We both gave it four out of five stars. I love spinach pasta, so I was happy to see they changed it to spinach pasta for St. Patrick's Day.

Lemony Pan Seared Chicken with Pesto Potato Salad & Peas

I gave this recipe four out of five stars, Hubby wasn't as fond of it. Put pesto sauce on any dish and I'm likely to love it. I don't think I've ever had it on potatoes before though. It was delicious and filling and yet it only had 531 calories. The photo above doesn't show all of the pesto sauce, I added more to mine after I took the photo. The lemon juice squeezed on top was really tasty. The only change I would make is to grind the pine nuts in with the pesto rather than place them whole on top.

This was a very enjoyable week of recipes, I really enjoyed all of the green vegetables they added for St. Patrick's Day. We look forward to the next week of recipes which will be:
  1. Pan Roasted Chicken with Dijon Mustard Sauce & Brown Rice
  2. Seared Steak with Spring Veggie Succotash & Mint Chive Pesto
  3. Nir's Lamb Stuffed Zucchini
