This is a review of the 18th delivery we have received from a weekly food subscription box called Sun Basket. We gave three recipes four out of five stars and one recipe three stars. Calories ranged from 300 to 610 and preparation time ranged from ten to thirty-five minutes. All of the recipes are gluten free, three are paleo and two are vegetarian. When you order breakfast recipes you receive two for the same price as one dinner.

Shrimp Skewers with Blood Orange Jicama Salad & Salsa Verde

I gave the salad five stars and the shrimp three stars, so that's four out of five stars for this recipe. I made this dinner when Hubby was out of town and I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. If you've never had a blood orange or jicama, you must try them very soon since they are both so delicious. If I could find some blood oranges locally to purchase, I'd make the salad again. Together they make a scrumptious salad. I wasn't crazy about the sauce on the shrimp. This recipe has 610 calories and it's gluten free and paleo. It was a healthy portion. Preparation time is twenty to thirty minutes.

Seared Tuna & Black Rice Donburi Bowl

I gave this one four out of five stars and Hubby gave it three stars. Hubby cooked the wild caught tuna perfectly. It had a wonderful flavor and texture. We were both surprised that we like black rice. It was very tasty! We would have liked more sweet potato. We didn't like the shredded nori. It was so dry. It has only 580 calories and it's gluten free. Preparation time is twenty-five to thirty-five minutes.

Roasted Red Pepper & Spinach Fritta with Arugula Pesto

We both gave this recipe three out of five stars. The pesto they sent us was too salty and it didn't have enough oil. We prefer pesto made with basil. Hubby added some cheese and we would have liked it better if they added some spice to it. It only had 410 calories and it's gluten free, vegetarian and paleo. It was a healthy portion. It took about fifteen minutes to prepare.

Orange Almond Smoothies

I gave this recipe four out of five stars, it was delicious. It tastes very similar to an Orange Julius, but it's a healthier version. It has 300 calories and it's gluten free, paleo and vegetarian. It took about ten minutes to prepare.

It was another enjoyable week or recipes. I really enjoy Sun Basket since the calories are low and most of the recipes are paleo or gluten free.
