This is a review of a restaurant called Himalayan Range Nepali located in Cary, North Carolina. They are open from 11 am to 3 pm and reopen at 5pm until 9 pm Monday through Thursday. Friday they are open an hour later.  Saturday they are open from 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm. Their sanitation score is currently 94.5 which very good. We visited last Saturday at 5:30 pm. As soon as we entered I was comforted by the smell of the incense they were burning. There was only one other couple when we arrived so we were seated immediately at a booth by a friendly waitress. Later more tables filled up.

I looked at their menu prior to arriving and decided what I wanted to order. I ordered the Chili Chicken Appetizer to share with Hubby and a Diet Coke. The Diet Coke was served chilled in a can with a glass filled with ice. Hubby had the Chai Tea and enjoyed it it very much. We both loved the flavor of the mysterious free appetizer. We asked what it was, but we couldn't understand due to her accent. It's like a spicy cracker with a spicy chunky dip. It was so yummy and crave worthy. We both fell in love with the Chili Chicken Appetizer and it was a steal at only $4.99. Bargain! It was scrumptious and you must give it a try! It's crave worthy, so you have been warned. Hubby ordered the Lamb Vindaloo and he loved it's flavor though he felt very full since we had two appetizers, an entree each and bread. We both enjoyed the Garlic Naan, though I prefer a thicker version. This one was crisp, I prefer the softer and thicker version. Hubby loved it. I ordered the Chicken Coconut Curry and it was yummy. The chicken was so tender and the sauce is so delicious, not to mention the perfectly cooked jasmine rice. Next time we go there is no way I can't order the Chili Chicken, that is a must order item. The free appetizer is also something I look forward to. Hubby plans to try something different for his next entree though he really enjoyed it. I may try something different, but I need to study the menu to determine that prior to our arrival. We'll definitely try the momos next time. We both chose medium spicy on our entrees and we were happy with that choice. The waitress was perfectly attentive, very friendly and welcoming. This is a restaurant that you must give a try very soon. The scrumptious flavors are waiting for you, so don't delay your visit to this fine establishment which offers bargain prices. You will not be disappointed, so put it on your list to visit soon! So what's your favorite restaurant in the Triangle, comment below!
